What Is a Book Swap?
A book swap is a community-driven event where book lovers come together to exchange gently used books. It’s the perfect opportunity to declutter your shelves, discover new reads, and connect with fellow readers in Altoona, PA.
How It Works
- Bring one or more books you’ve already read
- Browse and take home “new-to-you” titles
- No limits—give what you can, take what you’ll enjoy (within reason!)
Book Swap Guidelines
To keep the event enjoyable for everyone, please follow a few simple guidelines:
- ✅ All genres are welcome – fiction, nonfiction, kids, YA, and more
- ❌ No moldy or damaged books
- 🔁 Bring as many as you’d like, take as many as you’d like (fair sharing encouraged)
- 💛 Open to all – everyone is welcome to participate
